Started playing at the age of 14 mostly for fun together with our guitarist Niclas Sköld, we could sit and jam in the room for hours without getting tired. At that time I had a Ludwig Super classic / Black Panther which I unfortunately sold but then bought a TAMA Superstar which I have added gradually and is today basically a replica of Neil Pearts set until the change to DW.
As time has passed I have played in different bands with different styles such as progressive and symphonic hard rock, pop, funk and fusion and the influences have varied with the music styles. Through the time grewing up I listened to a lot of drummers like Dave Weckl, Phil Collins, Steve Smith, Neil Peart, Mike Portnoy, Chester Thompson, Dennis Chambers, Jeff Porcaro, Teddy Campbell, Simon Phillips, Thomas Lang, Marco Minneman, Virgil Donati, Gavin Harrison, Tony Royster and Eric Moore but also Swedish artists such as Åke Ericsson, Morgan Ågren and Per Lindvall.
TAMA Superstar from the 80’s consisting of 2 x 22″ bass drums, 6″, 8″, 10″ open toms, 10″, 12″, 14″ closed toms, 16″ + 18″ floor toms and a 5½ x 14″ Yamaha Maple custom snare.
I use almost exclusively Zildjian A and Kwith a few exceptions for Sabian and Meinl. I use a 20 ”pingride, 20” medium crash, 18 ”thin crash, 16” crash, 15 ”crash, 10” splash, 2 x 8 ”splash, 18” pang, 14 ”+ 16” + 18 ”Wuhan china and 13 ”+ 14” Hi-hat Paiste Soundcreation.
The skins consist of Remos Clear dot on the open toms, Remos Smooth white Emperor on the closed toms drums with Remo clear Ambassador underneath, the snare has Evans Power center Coated over and Remo Clear Ambassador underneath and the bass drums REMO Powersonic.
All racks are TAMA titanium and my pedals are DW5000 AC and I use Vincent 7A sticks.
